The first CSI4* class of the week in Saint-Lô was one build to the height of 1.40m. 55 combinations tried their best to clear the 13 obstacles set up by the team of Gregory Bodo. The course, against the clock, proved to be challenging with only 19 pairs putting in a clear round.
The fastest round was put on the board by Mathieu Billot. He trusted Cosacara Z, a daughter of Cornet Obolensky, to jump clear in 53.93 seconds to take home the Gold. Cedric Hurel tried to better Billot's time but ended on 54.57 seconds in the saddle of Fantasio Floreval Z (Florian de la Vie). Nicolas Tison made sure the podium was fully filled with French riders by clearing the course in 54.62 seconds together with Air Fly Sunheup Z (Air Jordan Z).
Hockando de Riverland (Sunday de Riverland*Bois Margot) crossed the finish in 54.95 seconds to end fourth under the guidance of Lucas Fournier. Mathieu Billot did not only top the class but also jumped to fifth place on Heartsong de Pleville (Carinjo HDC).
