McLain Ward and Contagious on top in 5* GP qualifier of Greenwich

On Friday, the CSI5* program kicked off in Greenwich, USA. Riding his reliable partner, Contagious (Contagio x For keeps), McLain Ward claimed victory in front of his home crowd!

In the 1.50m Grand Prix qualifier, McLain narrowly beat Irish rider Darragh Kenny, who was aboard Eddy Blue (Eldorado vd Zeshoek). American rider Jessica Springsteen completed the podium with her BWP mare, Naomi van het Keizershof (Cardento).

Springsteen and the mare, bred by Leon Otten, relegated Amy Millar and Christiano (Canoso) to fourth place. Jordan Coyle followed in fifth place, riding Maartje Wolbers' former horse, Jorisca (Dantos HBC).
