On Thursday, Willem Greve made a strong start in Lyon. In the 1.45m opening class of the CSI5* competition, Megane Moissonnier claimed victory with the nine-year-old BWP stallion Qoup de Coeur de Muze (Mosito vh Hellehof).
Moissonnier secured a home win with Joris de Brabander’s bred BWP stallion. In the 1.45m two-phase class, the French rider finished more than a second faster than Søren Møller Rohde and the 11-year-old mare Grace ASK (Darco Derevel). Alessandra Reich completed the top three.
The Austrian rider rounded out the top three with the 11-year-old BWP gelding Oeli R (Denzel v’t Meulenhof). Just outside the top three followed Romain Dreyfus, ahead of Willem Greve.
Dreyfus placed fourth with the eight-year-old Comme Convenu (Comme Il Faut). Together with the 10-year-old Zangersheide mare Candy Luck (Comme Il Faut), Willem Greve completed the top five.
