A highlight on the global calendar

In just a few years, the Morocco Royal Tour has grown into a landmark event on the international equestrian scene. This year’s programme is particularly ambitious: 27 competitions, including 13 counting towards the FEI Longines Ranking, three CSI4*-W Grand Prix qualifiers for the World Cup, and of course, the Nations Cup in Rabat — the ultimate team challenge where national pride is at stake.

All eyes will be on 24 September, when the newly renovated arena in Rabat will welcome riders for the first time. El Jadida, too, has undergone a full upgrade, reflecting the Tour’s constant pursuit of excellence.

Big names, high expectations

As always, the Morocco Royal Tour will see a thrilling clash between established champions and rising stars. Italian rider Emanuele Gaudiano, a crowd favourite and winner of four CSI4*-Grand Prix titles in the past two editions, is expected to be a key contender once again. But the Moroccan elite — including Abdelkebir Ouaddar and El Ghali Boukaa — will also be looking to shine on home soil.

More than just sport

For many participants, the Tour is about much more than competition. It is an experience that combines world-class sport with Morocco’s renowned hospitality and its deep-rooted equestrian heritage. The finale in El Jadida, staged as part of the Salon du Cheval, promises to be nothing short of magical. The prestigious Grand Prix of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, with prize money on par with the biggest five-star competitions, will bring the event to a spectacular close.
