About a year ago, Hessel Hoekstra temporarily took over the reins of Tani Joosten's Galdal Me. Today, the Dutch rider announces that her 15-year-old son of Zambesi TN will henceforth have a new rider.
"I cannot thank you enough," Joosten says. "You have literally made dreams come true. From my first 1.30m course to placings in CSI5* Grand Prix's! But certainly the opportunity to represent the Netherlands with pride, after clear rounds in Nations Cups."
Joosten and Galdal Me jumped up to a height of 1.60m. Last year, owner Hans Hendriks shared his fondest memories of the bay. "The past five years have been incredibly special and I am enormously grateful for all the opportunities and experiences I have been able to enjoy thanks to Galdal Me."
It is the Dutch young rider, Phylène Hendriks, who takes over the reins of the KWPN gelding.
