American rider Eve Jobs has a new talent in her stables. Jobs will now compete with the Selle Français stallion, Grand Duc du Paradiso (by Vagabond de la Pomme). The stallion was previously campaigned by French rider Sara Brionne.
Recently, Brionne and Grand Duc du Paradiso jumped to a fourth-place finish in the French Pro Elite Championship. At Jobs' barn, the stallion will join the likes of Good Star du Bary (formerly Jessica Burke's World Cup horse) and Zineday (individual silver medalist at the 2023 European Championship with Philipp Weishaupt).
Together with Brionne, the stallion racked up an impressive record. The duo jumped into the top five of the CSI3* Grand Prix in Le Touquet and also placed at the CSI4* Cabourg Classic and the CSI4* in Chantilly.
In 2026, they effortlessly continued that strong momentum, securing a fourth-place finish in one of the 4* Grand Prix classes in Arezzo, among other achievements. Just a few weeks ago, Grand Duc du Paradiso confirmed his form during his very first appearance at the French Pro Élite Championship in Fontainebleau, where he finished just off the podium.
The rider announced the transfer herself on social media:
"My dear Grand Duc, it is impossible to summarize our four years together in a simple text... You were my absolute match, my guiding horse, my other half... Our bond is eternal and unbreakable, I have no doubt about that. You entered my life to protect and guide me, and that mission is complete. I think you are crossing paths with Eve Jobs for the exact same reasons... Thank you for all the sporting successes, but above all, thank you for our friendship and love. I always promised you that if you ever had to leave, you would go to a home where you would be at least as well off as you were with us. I leave you with peace of mind in your future life alongside Eve Jobs and her team. Eve, I am passing the baton to you. Enjoy every single moment you get to experience with him, even the tough ones: he is so incredibly worth it. Grand Duc, you are one of the greatest loves of my life, forever."
