Belgian rider Niels Bruynseels delivered a brilliant performance for the home crowd during the CSI4* 1.50m Longines Ranking class at the Jumping International de la Province de Liège. Riding his talented mare Devidanga SW Z, he outpaced all competitors in the jump-off.
With Devidanga SW Z (Dominator 2000 Z), Bruynseels produced a clear first round and followed it up with a lightning-fast jump-off in 37.64 seconds, securing a well-deserved victory.
The second place went to José María Larocca aboard Chris (Contendro I), who also jumped double clear in 38.53 seconds. Only he and Bruynseels managed to complete the challenging jump-off without faults.
France’s Frédéric Bouvard, riding Kinoa d’Ayrifagne (Douglas), completed the podium with a time of 38.61 seconds.
Just off the podium, Kevin Jochems and Baloe HP (Balou du Rouet) clocked an impressive 38.05 seconds, but picked up four faults in the second round. Germany’s Maximilian Weishaupt rounded out the top five with Heidi von Imhoff (Christian 25), also finishing on four faults in 39.05 seconds.
