The CSIO5* 1.45m Two Phases Special, held in the brand-new Dansaert Arena during the Brussels Masters, was a true spectacle with 42 participants at the start. The course demanded faultless rounds combined with razor-sharp speed in the second phase, resulting in a thrilling contest right up until the very end.
Victory went to Spain’s Pilar Lucrecia Cordon with Noblesse du Palis (Baltic VDL), who delivered a flawless round in 33.16 seconds to set the winning time. Just fractions behind followed Jérôme Guery with Qartouche de La Pomme d’OR (Vigo d'Arsouilles), who secured second place in 33.57 seconds. It marks a remarkable week for Guery, who already stood on the top step of the podium on Thursday in the previous CSIO5* class.
The podium was completed by Robert Whitaker and Strike A Pose (Catwalk IV), once again clear in 34.35 seconds.
The rest of the top five also made their mark: Brazil’s Stephanie Macieira piloted Kan Kan du For (Kannan GFE) into fourth place, while Gerrit Nieberg and Solaia (Stakkato Gold) rounded out the top five.
