The first CSIO5* class of the day has just been completed in Saint-Tropez. The 44 starters were presented with a course of 14 obstacles at a height of 1.50m, judged directly on time.
Olivier Perreau took home the victory for France on Himalaya du Temple (Toulon). Pedro Veniss (BRA) rode Nimrod de Muze Imperio Egipcio (Nabab de Reve) to second place. Megane Moissonnier (FRA) rode the 9-year-old stallion Kandoo Z (Kannan) to bronze.
Fourth place went partly to Jennifer Hochstaedter (LIE), who rode Moeboetoe van de Roshoeve (Der Senaat) just as fast as Sean Monaghan (IRL) in the saddle of Toyger (Catwalk IV).
