The win went convincingly to Sweden’s Peder Fredricson with SV Vroom de la Pomme Z (Vigo d’Arsouilles). The pair stayed clear and set an exceptionally sharp time of 62.66 seconds, leaving the competition without a chance. “I was able to watch some of the other competitors before my ride. My horse has a fairly long stride, so I was able to shorten a few distances here and there, and today that was enough to win,” said Fredricson, delighted with his success.

In second place was Italian rider Giulia Martinengo Marquet with Coynor (Canstakko). She rode a technically strong round and clocked 64.54 seconds, the closest anyone came to Fredricson. Martinengo Marquet, second place was a good start to the weekend: "Coynor is a great horse and very fast by nature. I am super happy with him and very happy to be here. Our round today has of course contributed to a positive feeling, but we will now take it day by day and step by step to see how things progress. I was really looking forward to riding here in Riesenbeck. You can really feel that horse people run this facility, because the conditions for horses and riders are simply perfect."

Third place went to France’s Simon Delestre with Nascar van ’t Siamshof (Emilion). They also jumped clear, finishing in 65.31 seconds to complete the top three.

Yuri Mansur kept the Brazilian flag flying high with Incanto VDL (Kannan). The KWPN horse produced a faultless round in 66.65 seconds, securing fourth place.

Fifth place went to Denmark’s Zascha Nygaard with Miss Kanilvia PS (Kannan). She also left all the rails up and stopped the clock at 68.76 seconds.
