René Dittmer delivered a standout performance in the CSI5* 1m45 Longines Ranking class at the Longines Global Champions Tour in Riesenbeck. Riding Corsica X, the German was the only competitor to break the 60-second barrier, producing a sensational round to secure an impressive victory.
Rene Dittmer and Corsica X (Connor) stopped the clock in a lightning-fast 59.87 seconds, making them the only combination to finish in under a minute. American rider Lillie Keenan came closest with Highway TN (Eldorado vd Zeshoek), but her faultless effort in 61.44 seconds earned her second place. Egypt's Nayel Nassar completed the podium aboard Orphea HQ (Emerald) after another clear round in 63.10 seconds.
The battle for the remaining top-five placings was equally intense. Portugal's Duarte Seabra guided Cabernet di Fer Z (Cicero Z van Paemel) to fourth in 63.31 seconds, while Italy's Emanuele Gaudiano rounded out the top five with Chabrello PS (Exelero) in 63.46 seconds. Remarkably, all five of the leading combinations jumped clear, making speed the decisive factor in an exciting finish.
