Richard Howley and Zodiak Du Buisson impress with 5* Grand Prix win in Coapexpan

A total of five combinations qualified for the Jump-Off in the 1.60m CSI5* Grand Prix in Coapexpan. Eventually it was Ireland's Richard Howley who jumped to victory aboard his 9-year-old Zodiak du Buisson Z (VDL Zirocco Blue). The pair jumped to victory in 40.74 seconds

Howley remained less than a second ahead of Daniel Deusser and Gangster v/h Noddevelt (Eldorado vd Zeshoek) with his KWPN stallion. Together with Nick Vrins' former Orelie (Emerald van 't Ruytershof), Janika Sprunger completed the top three, clear round.

With one jumping fault, but the fastest time, Federico Fernandez followed in fourth place. In the saddle of Romeo (Lando), the Mexican stayed ahead of his compatriot, Hank Carlos with H5 Porthos Maestro WH Z (Picasso Z).
