This weekend, a CSI3* level show jumping competition is taking place in Beijing. The highlight of the day was a team competition within the same CSI3* event. A top rider teamed up with two Chinese riders, and the team with the fewest penalty points at the end of the round claimed the overall victory. Under the watchful eye of Gilles Thomas, Muladeli Miladeli and Liang Ruiji rode alongside him to take the gold. The three-member team accumulated a total of 11 penalty points in the 1.45m course, which was enough to secure the win.
Muladeli Muladeli relied on Omar de Kalvarie to complete a round with a total of 7 penalty points. Gilles Thomas incurred one jumping fault with Galetto S, while Liang Ruiji delivered a clear round on La Luna Hidalgo J&F (by H&M Cabrio vd Heffinck).
The top three was rounded out by Alberto Zorzi's team and Scott Brash's team.
In the individual ranking, the victory went to Alberto Zorzi. He rode Gitania VG (by Cicero Z) to the win with a faultless round in 66.03 seconds in this direct time competition. Bertram Allen and Mikias vd Bisschop (by Windows vh Costersveld) secured second place, completing a clear round in 66.11 seconds. Ruiji Liang and La Luna Hidalgo J&F (v.
