Marine Scauflaire has parted ways with one of her most promising talents, the gray mare Unaki de Bornival Z (Untouchable x Catoki). Following the discontinuation of the partnership between Scauflaire and several owners, Constant Van Paesschen will now take over the reins of the mare.
The mare's owner, Louise Dalle—who is also the new owner of the stud farm Haras de Bornival—views the collaboration with Van Paesschen as a long-term partnership.
In a statement to our colleagues at Sohorse.eu, Van Paesschen expressed his enthusiasm for the acquisition. "This mare is at the perfect age to make the transition to the bigger classes," the Belgian rider commented.
Marine Scauflaire's last international appearance with the mare was at the CSI in Liège. The pair placed sixth in the highly competitive CSI4* 1.40m class. Throughout their partnership, Scauflaire and the eight-year-old mare successfully competed up to the 1.45m level.
