The milestone season will bring fresh opportunities for competitors at every level. Among the additions to the national schedule are weekly 1.45m classes, joined by expanded offerings for crossrail, pony, and Itty Bitty jumper divisions. Select weeks will also feature additional 1.45m Grand Prix competitions, while young horses will take center stage on the brand-new derby field at Wellington International South during dedicated 1.30m young jumper weeks.

High-performance sport remains at the heart of the festival. Week 1 kicks off with dual CSI5* and CSI3* action, while Week 8 promises to be a major highlight, bringing international team competition in both jumping and dressage to Wellington with CSIO4*, CDIO3*, CSIOJ, and CSIOCH divisions. Fan-favorite events will also return, including the BrainJuice Under 25 series, Team Hunter Challenge, Masters Mania, the Lövsta Future Challenge Final, and the 1.20m Young Jumper Final presented by North Star Sport Horses. Organizers expect to announce additional class offerings, sponsor partnerships, and boosted prize money as the season approaches.

Underpinning the schedule changes is a major investment in venue infrastructure. Complete footing updates have been carried out in the Rost, Grand Hunter, Mogavero, and DeNemethy rings, as well as Rings 6, 8, 9, and 10. Ring 8 has been widened and outfitted with an adjacent spectator viewing tent; it will now host classes previously held in the DeNemethy Ring.

To help ease scheduling demand at the North property, Rings A through D at Wellington International South will be brought into regular use. The new South derby field will also introduce a dedicated golf cart tailgating area for spectators.

Navigating the expanded footprint will be seamless for riders and visitors alike. A complimentary golf cart shuttle will run across the properties throughout the season, supported by a new interactive digital map launching on the Wellington International website early this winter. The map will provide live turn-by-turn walking directions, venue navigation, and vendor locations.

Beyond the arena action, the 50th anniversary will be celebrated with special events and exclusive merchandise all season long. A central centerpiece remains the Great Charity Challenge sponsored by Fidelity Investments, which returns for its 18th edition under the theme "Once Upon a Masquerade." The beloved event continues its impactful legacy after distributing more than $2.3 million to over 80 local non-profit organizations during the previous season.
