With expert commentary from Harrie Smolders, Willem Greve, Philipp Weishaupt, Henrik von Eckermann, and Maikel van der Vleuten took part in the horse swap today. At the initiative of Jeroen Dubbeldam, this event was reintroduced into the program of 's-Hertogenbosch! Christian Kukuk's Cupido (Calmando) was the best horse of the competition.
The riders jumped a total of four rounds: once on their own horse and then on each other's horses. In the warm-up arena, the rider guided the 'new' combination.
Because Willem Greve, who eventually won, had asked all the riders for information about the horses beforehand, Harrie Smolders jokingly called him Willem "Google" Greve.
In the jump-off, Willem Greve ultimately won with Hadewyn van 't Ravennest (Comme Il Faut), formerly ridden by Wim Vinckx. The pair stayed ahead of Philipp Weishaupt with Cupido (Calmando). Henrik von Eckermann, still struggling with a broken hand, completed the top three in the saddle of Calizi (Cellestial).
