Putting the pressure on Kühner is Germany’s gold medalist Christian Kukuk who has his eye on the top spot and will be looking to secure maximum points as the tour lights up the Circus Maximus, August 30 – September 1. Third placed Maikel van der Vleuten of the Netherlands is also headed to Rome to defend his podium position.
International show jumping stars such as Edwina Tops-Alexander of Australia, Spain’s Eduardo Alvarez Aznar, Germany’s Christian Ahlmann, and British show jumping icon John Whitaker are also headed to the Eternal City.
