In the 1.60m course, it was the ten-year-old Zangersheide stallion Dourkhan Hero Z (Don't Touch Tiji Hero) who jumped to victory with Christian Ahlmann in this thrilling CSI5* Grand Prix!
Only eight combinations managed to complete the first round without faults... but it was Germany's Christian Ahlmann who ultimately claimed victory aboard the ten-year-old Zangersheide stallion Dourkhan Hero Z (Don't Touch Tiji Hero). With a time of 40.99 seconds on the clock, Ahlmann was more than a second faster than fellow German Christian Kukuk. Kukuk, riding the fifteen-year-old Checker 47 (Comme Il Faut), finished in second place with a time of 42.13 seconds.Peder Fredricson also delivered a faultless round in the jump-off. Clocking in at 44.12 seconds, he secured third place aboard SV Vroom de la Pomme Z, a son of Vigo d'Arsouilles.
Just off the podium was Kristaps Neretnieks, who took fourth place riding Valour, a son of Verdi TN. Neretnieks stopped the clock at 44.49 seconds, just a few hundredths of a second faster than German rider Laura Klaphake and Quizano VDL (Diamant de Semilly).
