Koen Vereecke is once again making a strong impression this year. “I have a stable full of good horses, and that makes a big difference,” Vereecke says. “Because no matter how you look at it, it all comes down to the horses. Without them, nothing is possible.” The Belgian show jumper remains grounded and continues working steadily, just as he learned in his hometown of Waarschoot in East Flanders – level-headed and step by step. “I used to think that training young horses would be my lifelong job...” A conversation with De Paarden Gazet.
