On Saturday, Pieter Devos won the CSI5* 1.60m Grand Prix of Amsterdam. After a masterful jump-off, he left the competition behind. "The atmosphere was incredible today," says Pieter Devos.

"When you go in as the second-to-last rider and the crowd supports you like that, yes, that's really special. My mare Jarina J gave it her all today to deliver a good round, and she more than succeeded."

"She has taken it easy over the past few weeks, and this was her first 1.60m in quite some time. Finishing like this is, of course, fantastic. I hope to wrap up Jumping Amsterdam in this successful way. I'm looking forward to the World Cup tomorrow."
