Sophie Hinners' career is on a meteoric rise. The German show jumper has rapidly climbed the world rankings and is now considered one of the brightest emerging talents on the international circuit. Earlier this year, she finished fifth in the World Cup Final and has since impressed with strong performances in Mannheim and Madrid. For Team Germany, she is a serious contender for selection to wear the red jacket at the upcoming European Championships in A Coruna. “I wouldn’t be where I am today without Deborah Mayer and the Iron Dames,” says Hinners. “She and the team gave me the opportunity to compete at the highest level. My career has really taken off because of them.”
