After a nail-biting jump-off, only one pair could take home the win—and that was Aaron Vale with Carissimo 25 (Cascadello) in the CSI5* Rolex Grand Prix in Dinard. They were loudly cheered on by the thrilled crowd in France!
It was a nail-biting finish right up to the last moment during the jump-off of the CSI5* Rolex Grand Prix in Dinard. Eight very strong combinations qualified for the jump-off, but Aaron Vale aboard Carissimo 25 (Cascadello) managed to outpace them all.
Vale’s first reaction was:
“He’s a very good horse. We’ve been expecting a win for a while, and today was the day. It’s just fantastic. We’ve often finished second or had an unlucky rail despite a great round. I’m absolutely thrilled with this result!”
Second place went to Harrie Smolders riding Mr. Tac (Non Stop), who were just two seconds slower than the winning pair. The bronze was claimed by Nina Mallevaey aboard Dynastie de Beaufour (Diamant de Semilly).
Marc Dilasser and Arioto du Gevres (Diamant de Semilly) narrowly missed the podium and finished in fourth place. Fifth place went to Steely Dan (Hardrock Z), ridden by Henrik von Eckermann.
