Swedish rider, Evelina Tovek, is putting her riding career on hold for a while. The rider is going to focus on further developing her family business in Sweden. The rider announced the news herself on her social media. "After seven years, it's time for a new chapter in my life. I'm going back to Sweden to become more involved in the family business."
"To be active at the highest level of the sport, you have to be fully committed. I won't have enough time to combine both activities and therefore made a decision," says the rider. "It has been an extremely difficult year. The sport has long been an important part of my life! But I am happy that I can now continue my father's life's work. I want to thank everyone who has supported me!"
In her message, the rider states that you cannot perform top-level sports without a fantastic team. She further reports that her top horse, Azaria Dinero (Mylord carthago x Drakkar des hutins), is moving to the stables of Henrik von Eckermann. This is also the stable where Tovek has been active in recent years.
