Dutch top rider, Lars Kersten, has announced the sale of his Grand Prix horse, Funky Fred Marienshof (Fantomas De Muze x Libero H). Together with Kersten, the 10-year-old son of Fantomas de Muze competed at the highest level. "It was an incredible journey that we were able to experience together. We look forward to your future with Cian O'Connor!"
"We've had many highlights," Kersten continues. The 10-year-old stallion was previously ridden by riders such as Maikel van der Vleuten, Gudrun Patteet, and Kim Emmen.
Together with Kersten, the stallion recently won the silver medal at the Longines League of Nations final.
The duo also finished third in the CSIO5* Nations Cup in Brussels last month. Other highlights on his record include top rankings in the Nations Cup of Hickstead, the CSI5* Grand Prix of Amsterdam, and 's-Hertogenbosch...
Funky Fred comes from the Belgian breeding of Stal Mariënshof.
