Today the German government has announced new guidelines to improve the animal welfare for horses in Germany. In the new guidelines it states the röllkur, trimming nose or ear hairs are no longer allowed. Also freejumping foals of yearlings are no longer allowed. The guidelines however aren's restricting as the law.
