Aged 31-years-old, the international jumping legend, Colorado (Animo) has passed away. Colorado impressed in his career with top riders such as Albert Voorn and Harrie Smolders.
Colorado was born at Dutch stable, Stal Wolfswinkel. The gelding stayed at his birth place in his first eight years. When Ester Frieser competed the gelding, he was acquired by Hans Dings.
The gelding evolved up to a 1.50m international level with David Jobertie. After Albert Voorn and Harrie Smolders took over the reins.
