International Auction Festival at Oldenburg Elite Auction

The 99th Oldenburg Elite Auction shone with top results, happy customers from all over the world and two price peaks for 160,000 Euros. Around one third of the auction candidates were bought by Oldenburg friends around the globe. Six horses of the 34-strong auction lot were knocked-down for more than 100,000 Euros.

Price highlight is the champion stallion of the 12th Oldenburg Saddle Licensing Solo Dancer, born 2020, by So Unique out of Dante‘s Daughter by Dante Weltino - Fürst Romancier, bred by the Werth breeding community from Moers and exhibited by the Sylvia and Wilhelm Klausing GbR and the Werth breeding community from Diepholz. The charming dancer switched for 160,000 Euros to a renowned dressage stable in Germany. Out of the dam line are the Grand Prix horses Flovinos Feiner Kerl/Anush Agarwalla, IND, and Serrano-H/Anne Horstmann. Solo Dancer is inbred to the star sire Donnerhall several times.

 

Fortnite, born 2016, by For Romance I out of Donna Salina by Don Schufro - Sandro Hit, bred by Gestüt Lewitz, Steinfeld, and exhibited by Lövsta Stutteri AB from Sweden, was also knocked-down for 160,000 Euros. Fortnite will move to a new stable in the United States of America. Third dam All Day Long is sister to star sire Sandro Song.

 

The licensed stallion Sergio, born 2020, by Sezuan out of Amperetta by Ampere - Don Frederico, bred by Siegfried Beinroth, Braunschweig, and exhibited by the Sylvia & Wilhelm Klausing GbR, Diepholz, placed third on the price list. Sergio changed to an U25 dressage rider in Baden-Württemberg for 120,000 Euros. Sire Sezuan shone as Triple World Champion under Dorothee Schneider.

 

Two future stars were sold for 105.000 Euros each: On the one hand the high flyer Cornetto, OS, born 2018, by Cornet Obolensky out of Annika III by Cassini II - Candillo, bred by Hermann Theiss, Gemünden and exhibited by b-horses, Eckernförde, who was sold to jumping friends from Hamburg. On the other hand, the strong-moving Valentino, born 2018, by Vitalis out of Lyoness by Don Frederico - Londonderry, bred by Sigrid Schmidt, Villingen-Schwenningen, and exhibited by Heinrich Giesselmann, Barver, who will move to an Olympic dressage stable in Sweden.

 

The interest from clients abroad has been enormous again. One third of the collection was sold to Oldenburg friends around the globe. Clients from Italy (3), Sweden (2), Hungary (2), USA (2), Ireland (1), Liechtenstein (1), the Netherlands (1) and Portugal (1) will be happy with Oldenburg horses in the future.

 

The total turnover of the Spring Elite Auction was 1.650.500 Euros. The average price settled at around 49.000 Euros.
