Cris-Cross Z will be saddled by Jeanne Sadran in the future. The 23-year-old French rider will take over the reins of the 8 years old gelding from Jana Wargers.
Ashford Farm has announced the sale of the Crown Z offspring to Ecurie Chevel. "We are seeing off a rising star. Cris Cross Z will continue his career with a another rising star, Jeanne Sadran. We have very much enjoyed having Cris Cross Z as a part of our team and are eager to see all the amazingness he will get up to with his new rider."
"We wish Ecurie Chevel the best of luck with this special 8yo, who will surely be there for lots of magnificent memories with their team."
As a 6-year-old, the Zangersheide first appeared on the international scene under the saddle of Tracy Holder, who only started him in the Youngster Tour at Northcote in the UK. Almost two years later, it was Guy Williams who brought the Crown Z son out again, passing the reins after a month to Jana Wargers, who has been at the wheel since the beginning of this year. The duo was last spotted in the two-star competition of St Tropez - Gassin.
