Jérôme Guéry has welcomed the promising stallion Quorail de Choizy into his stables. The horse has already had a diverse career under several riders and recently made a successful return to international competition after a break. Guéry aims to guide him toward the top of international show jumping.
The bay stallion began his competitive career at the age of four under his owner, Florent Danvin, in the French young horse circuit of the SHF. Two years later, he made his international debut with Mélanie Cloarec. He was then successively ridden by Rik Hemeryck, Steve Guerdat, Guerdat’s rider Guillaume Gillioz, and more recently by Laura Monier. With her, Quorail jumped his first 1.50m courses at the beginning of 2024!
After a break from competition of over a year, he returned to the sport ten days ago at Jump’Est in Rosières-aux-Salines. There, he immediately made his presence known with three clear rounds at 1.35m and 1.40m. According to Danvin, the plan is for Guéry to now guide him toward CSI4* competitions, and if all goes well, even toward the CSI5* level.
