KWPN and WBFSH plan team competition in Valkenswaard

A new competition initiative was introduced last week at the WBFSH general assembly 2022 in Dresden, Germany. At the initiative of the KWPN studbook, a brand new studbook team competition will be set up. All WBFSH studbooks will delegate teams of young show jumpers, who will compete against each other in different age categories on behalf of their studbook.

The first edition of this new studbook team competition will be organized in 2023 at Tops International Arena in Valkenswaard. Unlike the World Championship for Young Horses in Lanaken, in which horses from all WBFSH studbooks participate against each other, this competition will be a real competition between the studbooks.

The new initiative met with much acclaim from the various studbooks in Dresden.
