Shutterfly (by Silvio I), who was successful up to the highest level under the German Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum, is no more. Michaels-Beerbaum writes that on her Facebook.
The message opens with: "It is with a very heavy heart that I am sad to announce that we lost Shutterfly this morning."
The German rider noticed the dark bay gelding when he was six years old. Not much later, he joined her stables, where he never left. Together they built a successful jumping career and competed at the world top. Their last competition was in 2011, at the prestigious five-star competition in Aachen.
