Recently, German show jumper Tom Schewe enjoyed success in Aachen with his KWPN stallion, Lorenzo ES (Comme Il Faut x Casall). The talented stallion will now continue his career under the Saudi Arabian flag.
Earlier this month, Schewe and Lorenzo ES, formerly ridden by Frank Schuttert, delivered strong results in the 1.60m Prize of North Rhine-Westphalia, and also made a striking impression in the Rolex Grand Prix of Aachen. Earlier the pair also jumped to silver at the German showjumping championships!
That performance turned out to be their final outing as a duo, as the stallion has now been sold to the Equestrian Federation of Saudi Arabia.
"At the moment, it’s still unclear who the new rider will be," said Hareth Alqahtani. "This acquisition is part of a long-term strategy aimed at the 2026 Asian Games and the 2026 World Equestrian Games."
Lorenzo ES was bred by Egbert Schep and was initially produced at the international level by Gerd-Jan Horsmans, before being taken over by Frank Schuttert.
