Top riders collect almost 20.000 euro to support Ukraine

Tonight the charity auction of topriders, federations and stallion owners concluded. Almost 20.000 euro will be offered to support Ukraine.  In the end more than 12.000 people were visiting the online platform at the same moment. This caused a small technical server error, despite, the auction could be concluded with success.


"We are extremely happy with the result. We want to thank all bidders as well as top riders, federations, trainers and stallion owners who donated to make this auction a success," states the organization. "We experienced a minor technical difficulty because of the big success of the auction, certainly something we have to consider in the future, although we hope this kind of auctions won't be necessary anymore as world peace is obtained."

Different top riders donated lessons. By far it was USA's Jessica Springsteen who was most popular as one person offered 1.350 euro to get a lesson from the top rider. The highest bid was made for the Longines watch the Belgium team won at the European Championships in Rotterdam. A buyer payed 2.100 euro for the watch. Also the lesson of Jos Lansink got a high rate, ending at 1.125 euro.

9.330 euro will be donated to the 12-12 Ukraine charity while 9.330 euro will also be donated to the Ukrainian federation.
