Not only the Dutch showjumping team will have to count on their first reserve towards the World Equestrian Games in Herning. Also team Norway hasn't the luck on its side as Geir Gulliksen is forced to forfait the championship after a fall.
"Bad luck," reacts te Norwegian rider. On Sunday he fell of his horse after it started to buck the rider out of the saddle. "I had my hip displaced and will undergo surgery today. Although I feel fine I will have to rehabilitate for at least six weeks."
Norway's Cecilie Hatteland will replace Gulliksen in Herning.
