The Egyptian rider Abdel Saïd will compete at the WEG 2014 with a new tophorse. The 9-year-old gelding Zidane P (For Pleasure x Galoubet A) was sold one month before the European Championships in Herning, Danmark. However the former rider, Ales Opatrny, still competed with this gelding, riding a clear round during the Championship. "I wouldn't take away Ales' European-dream. That is why we decided to buy the horse but let him ride the European Championships." The new pair recently competed at the international show in Birmingham. After the WEG in 2014 the new owner will probably ride the horse himself.
