The online auction for Aymeric de Ponnat's Armitages Boy has finalized with the sale of the stallion. For a total of 2.8 million Euro's an unknown has bought the horse. The auction opened on September 21st, and it took a couple of days before the first bit was made. At 4pm GMT +2 (Paris) time the horse has been officially sold. The total sum to pay will be 2.968 million Euro's (inclusive commission). Bidding started at 1.5 million Euro for the 13-year-old Oldenburg horse (by Armitage). At the beginning of August the owners of the horse decided to make the final decision. For French show jumper, Aymeric de Ponnat de sale might mean an end to a long lasting partnership that started in 2010. The pair competed at the World Equestrian Games in 2014 in Caen, France.
