In Herning this weekend, it was not just the jumping riders who were in action for their World Cup, the dressage riders also had the chance to collect precious points for the World Cup. A lot of Danish riders competed but it was still a Swede who was unanimously declared the winner by the judges: Patrik Kittel. Kittel rode Touchdown (by Quaterback) to an overall score of 84.065%, enough to take the gold.
Nanna Skodborg Merrald and Blue Hors Zack (by Harmony's Rousseau) were able to take home second place. The duo scored a total of 82.820% and were unanimously placed second by the judges. Third place went to Lone Bang Zindorff and Thraenehaardens Rostov (by Romanov). This combination's Freestyle could also be savoured by the judges and produced an overall score of 81.760%.
The rest of the top five also came in the hands of Danish combinations: Andreas Helgstrand (Queenparks Wendy) and Anna Zibrandtsen (Quel Filou) came fourth and fifth respectively.
