Duffy's Belcanto Z sold to Karl Schneider

On his Facebook Ireland's Michael Duffy has announced the sale of his 11-year-old gelding Belcanto Z (Berlin x Mr. Blue). The gelding is a belgian bred horse. The horse was born in Belgium's CSI5*-show jumping rider, in Niels Bruynseels' backyard. After being sold through the Woodlands International Sales the Berlin-son was produced by Louise Whitaker on an international level. Years later it was Irish rider Michael Duffy who took over the reins. The pair competed successful at an internationale CSI5* -level. Duffy and Belcanto Z were one of the main characters during the CSIO competitions in Gijon, Al Ain, Lummen and La Baule. In La Baule they were part of the CSI5* Nations Cup team that took home the third place. On his Facebook Duffy states: "He is an incredible horse, who will continue his career with his new owner." His new rider will be Germany's Karl Schneider. Schneider is now mostly competing on a two star level.
