And as to be expected that is what Jung exactly did by cruising around with his two horses La Biosthetique-Sam FBW and fischerTakinou around todays course like a true master. By doing so the Rolex Grandslam of Eventing winner made todays course look like a stroll in the par . Even with the 5.7 time penalties Jung and his Olympic favorite ride fischerTakinou the German managed to just stay ahead of Australian Shane Rose and CP Qualified who started the competition on 17th place but working her way up to finished on second place with 42.80 penalties today. Ingrid Klimke and Horseware Hale Bob OLD who were amongst a few riders that finshed the course within the set time finished on third place. With her second ride SAP Escada FRH the 'reitmesterin' from Münster take a slower approached that gave her a mere 4 penalties for time but managed to keep her in the top 5 finishing in fourth place just in front of Christopher Burton.
