Kent Farrington breaks leg after serious fall in Wellington

The number one of the show jumping world, American rider Kent Farrington, unfortunately broke his leg after a fall from his horse during the Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington. 37-year-old Farrington has been leading the Longines FEI World Jumping Ranking for almost one year, and is also the number one in the Rolex/USEF Show Jumping Ranking List. Farrington was immediately transported to the Wellington Regional Medical Center, and will not be competing in the next leg of the Rolex Grand Slam in 's Hertogenbosch.
