Today, the WBFSH Rankings are generally accepted as an essential ingredient of the sport and breeding industry. Both riders and breeders highly value the rankings as the standard for comparing the performance of both competitors and horses. In the new updated ranking it is Big Star, the 10-year-old KWPN stallion out of Quick Star x Jolanda X Nimmerdor. On the second place it is also the KWPN who provides the horse. The Nummero Uno-son Sterrenhof's Tamino is ahead of Silvana HDC (s. Corland), who is, indeed as well KWPN-bred. To complete the KWPN-domination it is Chaman (s. Baloubet du Rouet) who takes in the fourth position.
Oldenburg follows in the fifth place thanks to the 12-year-old Lennox (s. Lifestyle), while the Belgian Warmbred Olympic silver winner, London (s. Nabab de Rêve) takes in the sixth position. The top ten is further completed by Verdi III (KWPN, s. Hors la Loi III), Carlo 273 (Holst, s. Contender), Castle Forbes Myrtille Paulois (SFA, s. Dollar du Murier) and Cevo Itot du Chateau (SFA, s. Le Tot de Semilly).
