On Saturday September 21st the Z-stallion, Levisto Z, will officially put an end to his sportive career and enjoy his retirement. The 16 year old stallion by Leandro x Carolus has had a fantastic career under Melchior, who will retire her wonderful grey partner on home soil at Zangersheide during the FEI World Breeding Jumping Championships for Young Horses. Among the popular pair's biggest triumphs were the wins in the Sires of the World competition in Lanaken in 2008 and 2009.
Meanwhile Levisto Z has been cloned. The 4-year-old Levisto Alpha Z victoriously conluded last month with a win at the Belgian Championships fro 4-year-old horses.
