At his social media account we found out that Swiss showjumper Martin Fuchs said goodbye to one of his top horses. We are talking about the twelve year old gelding Cristo (by Cristo) with whom he recently won the four star competition in Wellington, Florida.
Fuchs posted that Cristo is now sold to the United States to American young rider Samantha Kasowitch who is based at Wellington. He posted: " Goodbye my little star! For 3 years you have been the most loyal horse there is. Enjoy you new job teaching @samkaaz how it's done!"
About three years ago it was Fuchs who took over the reins of Cristo, ensuring a victory in their second competition at Gorla Minore. They finished in first place at Arezzo, Horn, St Moritz and in the last couple of months they won the five star competition of Basel and the four star competition in Wellington.
