Just now Germany's top showjumper Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum announced on her Facebook that she has sold her top ride Fibonacci 17. The twelve year old For Feeling son was one of her most succesful horses over the last couple years. Their last win was during Nations Cup in Hickstead back in july, following the Olympic Games in Rio where they won the first qualification competition. They also brought home a bronze medal for the team. They finished on a second place in the World Cup in Wellington and a third place in the Grand Prix of Florida's Wellington last year. In La Baule there was also a third place in the five star competition. In Aachen they were part of the Silver medal team in 2015. Now it is the young American rider Lillie Keenan who will take place in the saddle of this world famous little white horse. With only 21 years old this young lady jumps at the 1m60 level, taking home a fourth place last week in Wellington with her horse Super Sox. With Fibonacci added to her stables this could be the new combination on the circuit to watch out for. Meredith tells on her Facebookpage "I am happy to congratulate Lillie Keenan on the purchase of Fibonacci. It is not always easy when a partnership comes to an end, but in this case I am thrilled to watch a new partnership begin. Nacho has been an extraordinary horse for me over the last 3 years and I am truly appreciative of the successes we enjoyed together. Now it is time for him to help a very talented young rider clear the obstacles in her path and achieve her dreams. Lillie, I know that a wonderful future with Nacho awaits you. And with the great support and management of your coach Cian O'Connor, I am excited to see the places you will go."
