Kristina Bröring-Sprehe, team gold and individual bronze medal winner at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, has a new young talent in her stables. He’s an eight-year old, Oldenburg gelding named Destiny OLD by Desperados out of Samira by Sandro Hit - Argentinus, bred by Diedrich Wiggers from Stadland.
Sandra Nuxoll from Austria schooled the Nürnberg Burg Pokal finalist all the way to fourth level. “Destiny OLD is extremely rideable, honest, willing to learn and has a great attitude towards work“, raves Nuxoll about the eight-year old, former Vechta auction horse. “Destiny OLD is in the best hands with Kristina and I am so happy that they found each other.” The successful couple triumphed in the Vechta Auction Championships as well as in a qualifier for the Nürnberg Burg Pokal, a Prix St. Georges Special. Kristina Bröring-Sprehe will now be piloting this young Oldenburg, a son of her championship horse Desperados. “I just loved Destiny OLD at first sight. He is super to ride and has a real talent for collection”, bubbled Bröring-Sprehe, obviously very sure about this still young horse. “We’ll start off real slow and build up a good relationship with each other”, said the successful championship rider.
Destiny OLD was discovered in Vechta. The noble Donnerhall grandson attracted lots of attention as a foal already at the 2009 Fall Elite Auction held in the Oldenburg Horse Center Vechta.
