The Swiss toprider Pius Schwizer will in the futur no longer be able to count on two of his major tophorses. Verdi III and Powerplay have been sold to the Ziegler familie of the Artisan Farm. Together with Verdi III (s. Hors La Loi II), Schwizer rode together several international victories. Aboard the 11-year-old horse he won the worldcup qualifier in Lyon in 2012. Further the pair triumphed at the international competitions of Calgary, Stuttgart, Ascona, etc.
On the back of Powerplay (s. Casall) Schwizer won last years CSI3* in Ascona. The pair also classified for a second place at the Nations Cup of La Baule thanks to a clear first round and a second round with nine points. In the future the 11-year-old Verdi III will be ridden by Tiffany Foster while the former Olympic Champion, Eric Lamaze, will compete with Powerplay.
