Scott Brash joins select club Rolex riders

World No. 1 rider Scott Brash has partnered with leading Swiss watchmaker Rolex as its newest equestrian athlete to join the Rolex family of Testimonees. “For over 40 years, Rolex has been a valued supporter of equestrian sports, and I’m proud to enter into partnership with a brand that so closely aligns itself with the same values that all top horsemen share: precision, class, and the pursuit of high performance,” Brash said. Brash, who made history this September when he became the first rider to achieve the Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping, is a natural partner for Rolex as it continues to support the most elite show jumping events on the globe. Brash’s legendary status was cemented at Spruce Meadows in Calgary, Canada on 13 September, when he won the €1.5 Million CP International Grand Prix, an equestrian Major and the third leg of the Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping. This exceptional title and a €1 Million bonus reward the outstanding rider who wins the three equestrian Majors, all supported by Rolex, consecutively. Brash joins fellow Rolex riders Eric Lamaze, Rodrigo Pessoa, Kevin Staut, Steve Guerdat, Kent Farrington and Meredith Michaels Beerbaum on the Rolex roster; all of them exceptional equestrian athletes who have long excelled at the very top of their chosen sport. “From a young age, it was always a lifelong ambition of mine to try and win a Rolex watch,” Brash added. “I was delighted when I won my first ever Rolex, out at Palm Beach in 2012, and winning the Rolex Grand Slam this year was simply a dream come true. I can’t think of a better partner to be associated with than Rolex.” As the crown in equestrianism for over 50 years, Rolex is a major force at play behind the sport’s finest events, riders and organizations, cultivating a privileged relationship with the elite world of equestrian sports.
