Scott Brash to ride bronze medal winner from Lanaken

Lord and lady Harris and lord and lady Kirkham have bought Scott Brash the eight-year-old bay gelding, Everest (Carambole x Indoctro). In early December Everest was purchased by Nick Skelton and Laura Kraut. Stal Hendrix: “However it was a short ownership and we were excited for Nick to ride the horse but equally excited that Scott will now have the ride.” Everest was auctioned during the 2013 edition of the Dutch Sport Horse Sales and was then competed by Stal Hendrix rider, Luc Steeghs, with great success. The pair finished in a very creditable third place during the KWPN-Championships for 7-year-olds, in August last year. Everest’s greatest achievement to date, is his performance during the World Championships for Young Horses which was held last September at Domein Zangersheide in Lanaken. There, he upheld the KWPN-studbook’s honour by winning the bronze medal. Dutch Sport Horse Sales and Stal Hendrix are therefore delighted that an ambassador such as Everest will be under Scott Brash’s saddle and wish the pair much success for the future.
