Scott Brash victorious in Gold Grand Prix MET

In the Gold Grand Prix of the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour in Spain, the British rider Scott Brash crowned himself as the winner. This class was initially planned for tomorrow, but because of the predicted stormy weather, it was moved to today. That worked out pretty well for Brash, who performed marvelous today with his nine-year-old Hello Mr President, an AES-bred son of Comme d'Api JR. The pair won this class over a height of 1,45m in 43,22 seconds in the second phase, and beat the other 45 combinations. Nicolas Deseuzes and Quilane de Lezeaux (Grenat de Grez) came in second in 44,67 seconds, 0,02 seconds faster than fellow countryman Olivier Robert with Eros (Querlybet Hero). Spain took hold of the fourth place. Laura Roquet Puignero and Sandi Puigroq (Diamant de Semilly) went clear in 45,61 seconds and left Italian rider Francesco Turturiello with Scara Mouche (Calvaro) in fifth place.
