Strong start for Jos Verlooy and Romeo de Villaret

The thirteen year old stallion Romeo de Villaret has joined the stabled of Belgium's Jos Verlooy. Earlier this month the Mr Blue son moved from his previous rider Jean-Michel Martinot in France to Verlooy. Martinot has been competing with him since 2013 and had their first succes a year later at the three star competition in Vichy where they finished third. In 2016 they finished in a second place in Dijon. It is now Jos Verlooy who took over the reins and already jumped to their first successes. In Valkenswaard the new combination started in the two star competition over 1m45 finishing in sixth en third place. Last week they competed in Belgium's Lier taking home a second place.
